Before travelling to United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) i.e. Dubai /Sharjah /Abu Dhabi, Indian citizens need to update ‘OK to Board’  with the airline, which is an airline’s requirement. Without which the Indian passenger won’t be permitted to board the flight for United Arab Emirates (U.A.E)

What is an “Ok to Board”?

“Ok To Board” is a process to validate the e-visa that the passenger is holding. This process prevents people travelling to UAE on fake visas. All airlines have to be updated with “Ok to board”. “Ok to board” is required for all passengers travelling to any of the seven Emirates including Abu Dhabhi, Dubai, Sharjah

You have to send your Visa & flight ticket copy to the airline you have booked. After verifying your visa, the airline update’s your PNR with “Ok to Board”. Please note that you cannot board the flight if your PNR is not reflecting with “Ok to Board” status. So we recommend all the passenger’s to check their “Ok to Board” status with the respective airline atleast 48 hours prior to their departure.

Why is “Ok to Board” so important?

Due to increase in fake visas to United Arab Emirates (U.A.E), many Indian passengers were deported back in past. To minimize the fake visa issues, the airlines and the sponsor’s started to re-check the traveller’s visas and the return flight ticket before their departure to United Arab Emirates (U.A.E). The airlines verify your visa and flight tickets and then update “Ok to Board” with your PNR.

When can I apply for “Ok to Board”?

Once you receive your United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) Visa. You can send us your return flight ticket copy and we will do the needful. Please ensure that you send all the required documents at least 3 days prior to your scheduled flight date to allow enough time to the airlines to verify and update “OK to Board” with your PNR.
