Trek to Bhimashankar

Siddhagad to Bhimashankar is a Range trek. A virgin trail that offers the best of Sahyadri’s in a single platter. Gurgling streams, countless waterfalls, encounter with giant squirrel, dense forest, no sight of humans for kms – kms and much more things that you expect from a trek.

It’s our every year activity that we are trekking here. Every year the experience has been new and we simply can’t get tired of this place.

Trek Date: 23-24th July, 2016
Trek Cost: Rs.1750/- per person

Plan:

Day 1
Meet at Kalyan station by 6:30 AM on day 1
Breakfast
Start trek by 9:30
Reach Siddhagad top by 12
Lunch
Reach Plateau by 2 PM
Reach kondwal village by 4:30
Walk towards Bhimashankar and reach by 7PM

Day 2
Breakfast at 7:30
Start trek towards Khandas at 8
Reach Khandas by 12
Lunch
Leave for Neral
Reach Mumbai by 5 PM

Expertise and Guide Charges
Travel by local transport till Base village from Kalyan
Khandas Village to Karjat/Neral by private vehicle

Medicine those if you require usually

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried….so that one has ones hands free while trekking. (Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.)

It might be raining, so pack your bag accordingly to save them from getting wet.
