Documents Required for Italy Tourist / Visit Visa:
- Applicant has to visit VAC personally for biometrics
- 1 Filled form signed in blue ink
- Original Passport valid for 6 months from travel date + Old Passport
- 3 RECENT Photographs (35*45mm White background Matt finish 70% face covering not older than 6 months)
- Covering Letter on business letter head
- Overseas Medical insurance of minimum 30000 Euros covering 10 days excess from the travel dates
- Leave letter if salaried with 3 month salary slips
- If sponsored by somebody from Italy for a tourist / visit visa, then require passport copy, visa/PR copy, Bank guarantee with employment proof and Invitation letter from the sponsor
- If not sponsored, Hotel confirmation with day-to-day itinerary.
- For Minors, No Objection ( In case Minor is Travelling with any one Parent or unaccompanied )Affidavit from the parent in India stating that he/she has no objection to the travel of the minor and the affidavit has to be notarized and legalized by the competent Home Department of the State of Residence
- Return Ticket with internal tickets as well
- Foreign exchange endorsement or Original receipt of the Forex purchased or recent credit card statement mentioning credit limit
- Personal 3 months updated Bank statement with bank seal & sign having applicant’s name and account number on it

- 3 yrs Income Tax Returns or Form 16
- Copy of Valid US and UK Visas. Copy of all Schengen Visas issued from 2005 onwards Photocopy
