Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:
- Arrival at the airport – You will be received by one of the representative at the arrival lobby after completing customs procedure. From there you will be transferred in a coach on SIC basis to the hotel.
- Upon arrival at the hotel: You will receive warm welcome at the hotel along with welcome drinks and cold towels. Also you will receive a welcome kit containing SIM card and discount vouchers.
- City Tour- Your city tour will start at 1100hrs. If you flight arrives later, then the city tours can be moved to Day 2. You will need to be at the hotel lobby before this time and to board the bus for the city tour. Your city tour will last for 2 hours and will end at approx. 1300 hrs. This will be a sightseeing tour which will take you to all the sites but the coach will not stop at any of the sites. During the city tour, you will see the following sites:
- The Gangarama temple: A historical temple with Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian, and Chinese architectural influences.
- Hindu kovil: A popular religious place of worship, known for its intricate carvings.
- Independence Square: Standing memorial to Sri Lanka’s independence from the British built in 1948.
- Galle Face Green: Promenade initially used for horse racing and a golf course, now a five-hectare seaside park .
- Old Parliament: Built during the British era, this was the island’s legislature for 53 years.
- World Trade Centre: City’s premier 40-storey, business complex.
- Old Colombo Dutch Hospital:The oldest building in Fort, Colombo and converted in to a heritage building with a shopping and dining precinct.
- BMICH: The very first purpose-built convention center in Asia Colombo.
- Racecourse:Used as a harness racing course, temporary airfield during WWII. This is now a shopping and dining arcade.
- Town Hall: Modeled after the Capital Hill and currently the office of the Colombo Mayor.
- ViharaMaha Devi Park:The Oldest and largest park in the heart of Colombo with scenic views of city.
- During the sightseeing tour/experience the guests are able to visit any of the above mentioned sites. However please note that guest will have to make their own arrangements back to the hotel
- Lunch at Dining room* (1200hrs- 1530hrs)
Lunch will be at the Coffee shop/ Main restaurant (Dining room*). This is a continental buffet which includes a special Indian corner with Indian food items to select from
- Shopping tour – Your shopping tour will start at 1430hrs. If you flight arrives later, then the shopping tour can be moved to Day 2. You will need to be at the hotel lobby before this time and to board the bus for the shopping tour. During the shopping tour the coach will stop for 30 minutes at each stop. The customers are expected to return to coach within this time. If they miss the bus, the customers will have to hire a tax on their own expense to come back to the hotel
- BBQ dinner-A fiery BBQ dinner will be arranged outdoors at the poolside from 1930hrs-2230hrs. After dinner you can party at the in house club at the hotel, the Library*(2000hrs onwards). No entrance fees will charged for the clients and the clients will also receive 50% discount on liquors at the night club.
Day 2:
Pool Aerobics /Zumba– If you are an early riser you can treat yourself to a session of pool aerobics from 0630hrs-0730hrs. Pool aerobics session will be conducted by our in-house fitness experts to kick start the day
- Breakfast at Dining Room– Breakfast will be at the Coffee shop/ Main restaurant. This is a continental buffet which includes a special Indian cornerwith Indian food items to select from
- Clients Leisure at hotel/Own itinerary – Rest of the day is left open to explore the city on your own.
- Lunch at Dining room* (1200hrs- 1530hrs)
Lunch will be at the Coffee shop/ Main restaurant (Dining room*). This is a continental buffet which includes a special Indian corner with Indian food items to select from
- Party at Library (2000hrs onwards)
In-house club will be open for the guests to dance the night away
- Depart to Ballys’ Entertainment*
A Shuttle service will be provided for the guests to get to the venue. The client will have to arrange return transfer on their own back to the hotel.
Day 3:
- Breakfast at Hotel
Breakfast will be at the Coffee shop/ Main restaurant (Dining room*). This is a continental buffet which included 06 Indian food items to select from
- Clients Leisure at hotel/Own itinerary – Rest of the day is left open to explore the city on your own.
- Depart to Airport – When it is time to catch your return flight, depart from the hotel to the airport by the arranged transportation on SIC basis
